General Information

Description This equatorial park in the African Rift Valley contains two large lakes and boasts some of the most substantial concentrations of wild mammals in Africa, or perhaps in the world, including some of the few remaining mountain gorillas in the wild.

The oldest stone tools in the world have been found near these lakeshores.
