Species of Concern Home to more than 1% population of the world's population of the Eurasian Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia) and the Greylag Goose (Anser anser). A wintering and foraging site of international importance for waterbirds. Regularly hosts over 60 species of breeding birds, including Great Bitterns (Botaurus stellaris), Purple Herons (Ardea purpurea), Circus aeruginosus, and 50,000 Anatidae. The area supports unusual species of bats and fishes.
